home-made yogurt with three types of dairy cultures that are well recognized
for their health benefits: Casei Bifidus Acidophilus. This starter can be used
only with the Yogourmet Multi or Yogourmet II yogurt makers because CBA yogurt
starter has an incubation
period of 12 to 15 hours when the temperature must be increased gradually from
23°C
to 44°C (73°F to 112°F). The Yogourmet Multi is the only yogurt
maker that has a pre-set designed to heat in this manner. One box of Casei
Bifidus Acidophilus Yogurt Starter contains 6 envelopes, each
making 1 quart
of yogurt.
